Still Time to See “The Girl” in Texas Debut

LaPrensa

La Prensa says:

“The Girl”… will grip you and stay with you for days after you’ve seen the film. It is well worth your time and cash this Easter weekend – and will have you contemplating what you would do yourself in the very same situation. It will also show you a side of the immigration scene you might not have considered. And while the film tells a great story, it can’t help but provoke deeper thought and consideration about the human cost of what is happening on our borders today.

The Girl is now playing in several Texas cities this week, including Dallas, Frisco, Houston, and San Antonio.

The Girl heads to Austin on April 5th.

Indiewire’s “The Playlist” Features David Riker’s First of Five “Milestones”

The story of the events and circumstances that led David Riker (La Ciudad) to write and direct The Girl are compelling, and it was recently announced that Riker will tell this story in a series of five video “milestones” to be published in the weeks leading up to the theatrical release of The Girl. The first milestone had an exclusive premiere on IndieWire/The Playlist this week.
